On Christmas eve, we put a collection of gifts from family and friends under the tree, turned on the lights, and it looked quite cheery after all.
Christmas day was quite laid back and relaxed, a chance for us to catch our breaths a little. One thing it was not: a white Christmas. It was bright and warm and very sunny, a typical Aussie Christmas.
We hope all our readers had a pleasant and very merry Christmas: best wishes for the holidays and the New Year ahead.

I am so glad that the three of you were able to enjoy Christmas a little bit (even if the weather is all wrong!) - and it was lovely to see you late yesterday.
We too know a bit about tough years, and I can remember really looking forward to the end of 2006 - if only so that it was over and behind us...

Look at Ollie with his cute toothy smile, inspite of all the discomfort and pain he suffers.I think it's our dear Ollie who teaches us to accept what comes on our way with a smile, although we didnt expect it or it was a bolt from the blue !
